I've read through the colour/genetics section on axolotl.org numerous times, yet still have a bit of a difficult time grasping certain colour genetics. Mostly because I've paid closer attention to ball python and boa constrictor genetics. From the most recent spawn, I've found quite a few guys looking like this:

Iridophores galore? Or something else?

PS.... Cera the Leachie says hiiiiiii

Well you have two nice healthy looking leucistics which possess iridophores as you can see with the shiny eye rings.

Regards Neil

They're just sparkly leucistics. So pretty your leachie is crying!

The Twilight Saga version of axolotls? :D They look great!

Thanks everyone. I thought it was iridophores, but throughout their bellies it's loads of shiny that I'm not use to seeing. Mom has the rings around her eyes and dad has it throughout his body, but like I said, I'm genetics slow.
