Fungus Natural treatment

Hi everyone! Thanks for getting me in this top quality page!! Writing You from Italy so please excuse me for my english if It's not perfect... I' have a fungul problem with my Axolotl Wade ( it's his name) got caught on a "hand" by fungus from 4 days now... It started a few day After a 40% water change.. His brothers are all well... I know there are treatments with almond leafs or Tea... What would You suggest me? Do anyone ever try TEA TREE OIL? I used It on fishes with good responses but never tried on Axolotls before... Please help me with indications to cure Wade..

don't use tea tree oil, I've never heard of it used for axolotls but I think it would be too harsh. You're going to want to tub this guy, take him out of the tank and have him in a storage container, change 100% of the water daily. I'd add indian almond leaves and if that doesn't help after a few days start on tea baths, you can google how to do that.

Hi mate! Too late! I used the oil and It worked perfectly in combo with Ketapang leaves! In 24h the fungus melted down from the gill and i was able to syphon It during the first 100% water change. Now the guy Is on his 3rd day quarantine with just leaves and 1/3 dose tea tree oil. I'm treating his toe too ( from where the fungus started) and seems doing pretty well.
