Fungus inside eggs?

28 of the 40 or so babies have now hatched, but a few of the larvae still inside their eggs have what look like mucus-ish strands inside the eggs. I'm worried that this might be a type of fungus or something. I tried to take a photo, but it didn't come out properly. What should I do?

Try saltbathing the ones with fungus if they're still wriggling/moving around (it sounds like fungus) - at least twice a day; it may help. Check out the following link: www.caudata.org/cc/articles/salt.shtml

Hi Kapo,

I opened up a couple of the eggs, and the babies were fine. The stringy stuff seemed to be jelly from the egg, and didn't stick to any of the babies. I'll keep those babies separate for now just in case.
