If a newt has a fungus infected wound, should I keep him aquatic or terrestrrial, and in what setup?
The newt in question is a paramesotriton sp. and has a graze along the lower end of his dorsal ridge above the cloaca. I have him in a quarantine aquatic setup with one hiding place.I have tried salt baths and water life protozin treatment, and althooough they hold the fungus back, they do not destroy it completely. He is not too sluggish, but hasn't eaten for 1 and 1/2 weeks.
Any ideas
Chris
