Hi Everyone,

I'm wondering if you can tell me if it is safe to feed newts frozen bloodworms that have thawed and have been re-frozen?

Thanks for your help always!

I wouldn't. Many of the bacteria that would start to grow would not be killed off by freezing. YMMV based on exposure time, ambient temps, etc.
I wouldn't want to do it with a steak either.

Yep. They start to decompose very fast once they thaw...it´s a risk. Plus they will loose a great deal of nutrition too.

I'd toss them. It doesn't take long for thjem to smell like raw sewage when defrosted which is definitely not a good sign. Chalk it up as a lesson and buy more. We all have done it at least once so don't feel too bad...
