Unfortunately, I can no longer keep the Axolotl I have. Her name is Lil Godzilla, she's approximately 5-6 years old.

She was discarded by my sons ex-girlfriend and he couldn't keep her so I have her now. However, things in my life have become complicated with medical issues and I don't have the physical capacity to keep her and it's breaking my heart. I live in the Lower Hudson Valley Region of New York.

Therefore, I'm posting this in hopes that someone would like to have her that knows about them and how incredibly important these very unique aquatic critters are. It comes with everything you need tank, filter, her home, test equipment, extra tubing, extra filter parts for a Zoomed filter and a great stand that has two shelves below to keep all the equipment you need out of sight.

Here are some pics of her:

Hello, is she still available?

No. A wonderful family picked her up this morning.

There's nothing sadder than knowing you can't keep a pet due to medical issues. However, on the brighter side it does your heart and conscience good when a family comes along who absolutely loves your Axolotl as much as you do. Lil Godzilla is in safe and caring hands only 35 minutes away from me and I have total visitation rights any time I want.

I've already heard back from the family that she ate a huge worm and then preceded pooped up a storm. These people knew enough to preplan by making a place in their home, having the water tested and treated. She will be in her tank very soon.

I feel grateful also that part of the families heritage is from Mexico and the Grandfather knew too well about their plight. He is happy that the family adopted her so that the children learn all about endangered species and how important it is to protect EVERYTHING in nature.

I am so happy to hear she's being cared for well:eek:
