I live in rural Utah, on the edge of the desert, and on the edge of a mountain range. Most of the time we are dry, but it rained last night. Anyway. I went for a walk, and found a salamander in the dry gutter. Being the girl that I am, thought at first it was a big lizard, but knew it just wasn't quite like a lizard, and I finally figured it out. What I could not figure out was why it was in the gutter in my very populated neighborhood. Feeling the need to save it from getting run over by a car, stepped on, or found by some child, I went home, and I got something to put it in, although I think it may be sick: it is extremely tame. NOW I don't know what to do! I don't know what kind it is. I wonder if someone lost their pet. What do I do?
