I shall start this story at the beginning..
I'v been cycling my tank over winter getting ready for introducing a newt this year, i added some plants & drift wood.. as perusual the plants brought some snails with them & within no time at all there were hundreds of them!!
I remember pointing out to my neices the tiny snails floating around & i spotted something moving Alot faster than the snails, it was darting around & changing direction i didnt think much of it because it was too small to make out what it was..
Lately i noticed most of the snails had just disapeared, just a few of the bigger ones survived.. whatever it was must have been eatting them lol
Well a few months on & to my amazement i woke up this morning to find something floating in my tank .. at first i thought it was a daddy long legs drowning so i quickly scooped it out of the water but wow was i wrong.
Just look at these pictures

The warm water in the tank must have pushed it to metamorph alot earlier than usual.
Im in scotland & dragon flies dont usually appear until summer so i cant let it outside, the only option i can think of is sneaking him into the butterfly farm :s
What do you guys think i should do? I dont want to freeze & pin the poor thing :\
