Two days ago I accidentally scared my female Axolotl while feeding, which resulted in her scaring my male. She was bitten rather badly on the foot. The foot is intact, but veins are clearly visible, and she's holding it up so it doesn't touch anything. I put her in a 5 gallon quarantine tank right away with nothing for her to scrape up against. Yesterday there was some puffy tissue buildup hanging off the foot. Today the veins are less prominent, and she's moving the foot a little bit. There's still puffy tissue. I'm not worried, as it's looking better, and her appetite and temperament are normal. The male has been swimming around looking for her. Just wondering if there's anything else I should be doing for her, and how long I should wait before reintroducing her to the tank.
