I know that axolotls are illegal to own in some places.. i believe California. But are they illegal to own if Florida??

I think they're only illegal in California and New Jersey. I actually just ordered one from a store in Florida.

Pretty sure it's only California and New Jersey but you'd better check with the relevant Florida authorities. Must be a web site somewhere listing prohibited pets. I be surprised if they were as Florida is pretty relaxed about what you can keep as long as it's not venomous.

As far as I know, Florida is ok The only thing you would have to worry about would be temperature since axolotls like it cold.
