Floating Newt

Hi. I have a floating newt and thought it was dead. I sprayed it with its water spray, it swam a little, went under and just floated back to the top. I'm worried there is something wrong with the tank


The wooden ramp I have already taken out, cause I realised it has metal joinings and I thought it may be causing pollution over the last 2 days (since I took the floating one out and on to land) not one newt, out of seven of them, has entered the water. That's why I have the water dish on the land.

Hey tamz. You could try what I have done, for your ramp. In my snake enclosure, I tied bamboo together to make a platform. I'm sure if you took out the metal joints, you could easily tie the timbers together, like I did.

As for floating, I am not experienced enough to comment....sorry! But at least I could help in some way
