So I currently have a 30 gallon tank with my JFBN and I was wondering if putting goldfish in there too is an okay thing to do. I have two tiny little goldfish in another tank that I had in mind.
Thanks

Its a very bad idea. Many fish will either eat the newt eggs/larvae, or just out compete them for the available food supply.
Newts will only choose to live in water bodies without any fish in them. If they detect the chemical presence of fish in the water they will often abandon the habitat and go in search of somewhere more suitable. Goldfish get big and greedy, so forcing your newts to share a tank with them will normally result in stressed out animals that refuse to eat or go in the water and spend most of their time trying to escape from the aquarium.

Well that answers that question then. And I honestly was pretty sure it wasn't doable but I just wanted to be sure.
Thanks :D
