First axolotl spawn question

This is the first spawn for a pair of axolotls of mine, Is it normal for the babies to die off a week after they hatched? 10 have died so far out of 100.

It is possible that they are smaller or weaker because of being the first spawn from the female. But it's also possible that there are other factors, especially if this is your first time too.
