Hi! Iv got 10 baby fire salamanders and they are starting to morph and come out of the water. What do I do transfer the morphed babies into a separate terrestrial tank?? Also what do you feed them?? They have been eating brine shrimp, blood worm and daphnia.

Please help- new to all of this

When they have no more gills, and are done morphing, transfer them to a terrestrial tank

Substrate: Coconut Fiber and/or 100% organic top soil(no pesticides, peat, etc)
Temp: Keep it cool, no higher than 75
Food: Earthworms, nightcrawler pieces are good for them, I wouldn't bother with mealworms or crickets
Tank Size: One salamander should have at least a 10gallon aquarium or the dimensions of it if using a plastic tub
Ventilation: Screen Lid for a tank or holes in a tub
Water: Keep the substrate moist, but not dry or drenched, for water just use a water dish to he can get themselves wet
Lighting: No lighting needed
Hides: Provide several hides:)

Youre gonna need a really big tank, I usually use 10 gallons per salamander adult, someone please correct me if im wrong
