Fire belly toads help!!!

I have had 3 fire belly toads for about 2 years now, i put a fountain in there recently until i found out that was a bad idea, so i cut it off b/ it's still in there im getting ready to change it...my question is...before i put the fountain in there my frogs started climbing the sides of the aquarium like they were trying so hard to get out (they've never done this before)...is it b/c they are unhappy about something...anybody that can help i would really appreciate it...

No, they are just trying to escape like any other frog. That is the reason you need to have a secure hood. If not, they have been known to climb out!\

they are constantly looking food), so feed an amount you think is appropiate.
