Fire belly newt tank

Its sort of small but I like it. Also how do you manage to keep the water clean without a filter, because you should really get one.

A gravel bank is not the best way to create a land area. You end up with a really thick depth of gravel at one end which will trap dirt and make it hard to maintain good water quality, especially in a small tank like yours.

Floating platforms such as cork bark would be preferable. That way your newt can have a thin layer of gravel (easy to clean) and more usable space in the tank. Your newt will also appreciate somewhere to hide. Caves made out of broken pots or cork work well.

looks cool but as everybody is saying you should get a bigger tank for them at least double the size and maybe work on some ventilation
