Just wondering what there average size would be? And would a length of 18.5cm be good for a tank?

Which species of firebelly are you asking about?

C.orientalis usually get from 7-10 cm long. A tank that's 18.5 cm seems a bit small for one, consider upgrading a bit.

That would be a small tank for any size orientalis. They're small newts but appreciate room to roam. A tank measuring 30 x 20 cm or bigger would be a good size.

i agree they maybe small but they like lots of room, 10 gallon tanks are seen as a minimum but the bigger the better.

and 18.5 is pretty tiny.
