Illness/Sickness: Fire-bellied newt with 'wrinkly' skin?

Could you post a pic of your newt? Its almost impossible to offer any kind of advice without.
 
That link just takes me to a page that says:
"Invalid Attachment specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"

Whenever I attack pictures from a browser, I use the little paperclip icon thats on the same row on the thing that you pick your typeface and stuff on.


Oh, sorry. I got it this time. No idea why it's sideways...

In my opinion, it looks perfectly normal
 
When their skin looks like that, full of little bumps, it just means that they are in a terrestrial phase. Their skin changes properties and texture when they go from living on land to water. As you can tell in the picture, as well as bumpy, its skin is also not shiny and it repels water to a certain extent, all very clear signs of a skin adapted to land.
In order for the newt to go fully aquatic you are going to need to provide excellent conditions, and that's not currently the case, so read up!
