Fire Bellied Newt, and amphibians shippings? Your experience

Hi guys.

I'm getting desperate here. Ive been looking for fire bellied newts for a very long time. I live in Denmark where they are kinda rare. So i was wondering; is it custom to ship live newts, do any of you do this?
If this is custom, then are there any sellers of fire bellied newt out there?

As long as its legal to ship herps in your part of the world it should be fine, I've received newts through the mail quite a few times and never had any issues. As long as you use common sense and don't ship amphibians in the middle of a heatwave or when its below freezing point I don't think it stresses them too much if they are healthy to begin with.
If I were you I would post up a wanted add on here and see what turns up, please don't be tempted to buy wild caught Chinese firebellies, it may take a little more time and patients, but finding healthy captive bred ones should be possible where you are.
