So here they are. They have been eating well since i got them, some are slimmer than others but as long as they all eat i don´t care.
They are amazing creatures, i love watching every single move they make. It´s funny how they inmediately hide under anything if you move them.
And they are nervous....whenever you touch one it gets hyper and they run pretty fast Ô_o
I just love them...nothing else to say hehe....just love them...
If you only knew how happy you made me Ian :p

Sorry for the crappy pics...i´ll try and get good ones soon.

The look great Rodrigo, I hope you have lots of pleasure from them.

I do, they are so funny to watch.
I´ve learnt though that they can be a little pain in the <font color="ff0000">•</font><font color="ff0000">•</font><font color="ff0000">•</font> when they want too...xD
I´ve been trying to trick them into eating frozen bloodworms for three days now and they won´t touch them. I´ve tried moving them to make them look alive.i´ve tried leaving them in a wet piece of towel...I´ve even tried to put some in their water dish in case they took them.
A little bit more patience i guess...

Lot's of patience! Once they learn that food is delivered from the magic hand in the sky they soon take whatever you offer them. Mine stampede towards frozen blood worms - your's will too with a little patience.

Glad you like them. They become very personable over time.

how long did it take for yours to do so??Please tell me. Mine doesn´t show any interest at all..i know it´s very soon, but with other caudates at least they showed interest and then some time after ended up eating them. But this ones...
If you say they get used to it...great! i so hope you´re right hahaha

weeee i got four of them to eat some frozen bloodworms. It took a long time of moving the worms and simulating they were alive but in the end they took them.
Now i hope it works tomorrow

Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

He also seems a little sluggish, again, assuming hes cold. Having heating trouble with the new house right now. What do we think? Was thinking of grabbing this for him since its got very low, medium, and higher medium heat settings that exude heat downward inside the rock cave but ALSO exudes it UPWARDS outside of the rock cave, effectively keeping the tank itself a little warm. Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail.
