ive got a EHEIM 2008 internal filter, just wondering dont think its a biological filter..would it matter though?

You can buy Eheim filter bio-media to go in it, I reccommend this

The black sponge will be a carbon sponge - that needs replacing every six weeks, but will rip out nasty toxins from the water.
If you're cycling your new tank, you will need to take this out, or you'll get nowhere.

one other question...i fed my axolotls live blood worms sum got eatten but the others went hiding under the sand. what should i do leave them there or takem out? would it harm my pets?

Best to take them out so they don't foul up the water.

actually, if they are alive, then leave them, coz they will survive no probs, and every time one of them comes up, your axie can have a snack. like hide and seek lol
