Hi everyone,
I have two axolotls in a 70L tank with a chiller that they have outgrown. I have recently got a 40 Gallon 185L new home for them and will be buying a new bigger chiller. I will start cycling as soon as i get the filter set up.I plan of having sand at the bottom of the tank with some pots and plants.
I just wanted to get some ideas on how to set up the filter. I was thinking of an external canister filter that then flows into the chiller then back into the tank? any thoughts or problems anyone has encountered with this?
Or would it be easier/more effective to have the filter and chiller separate?
Thanks!
