Fight in the Tank!

Looks like our Axies are growing up way to fast we expected. I heard that young ones may incidentally fight, but now – I saw it!
They are extremely fast and forceful. Within 10-15 seconds, they have ruined all plants in the tank and… bite each other.

Final conclusions and resolutions:
[short term]: (a) lower temp of water to 12degC; (b) prepare additional hideouts;
[long term – one month]: (c) change tank for bigger (100x40x50cm);

Your additional suggestions are highly appreciated.

Within next 3-4 weeks we'll have bigger tank.

The lower the water temp the faster they grow.
(but dont lower it to much!)

I thought that it was the other way around. The higher the temp, the faster the axolotl grows.

when i mean lower the water temp i am refering to mising limbs. The mising limbs regrow faster if you do this.
