Few Q's?

I am brand new to the Axolotl bandwagon, and from my research i am leaning twords slate/tile floors, is this about the easiest to keep clean?

Also where do you suggest buying this slate/tile, relatively inexpensive?

But i also love the way the river rocks look in the tank, im super indecisive! help

Probably not quite as attractive as large rocks, but easy as pie to keep clean. No fear of escaping worms either...

I got some tiles from a tile and ceramic shop. They gave me three 420mm X 420mm tiles for free.

I went for sand in my tank and so far its proving pretty easy to keep clean. A siphon lets me suck up most of the waste and the sand drops back down so not much comes out. Also serves to help me change the water as 1 fill of the bucket I use is about 20% of the tank.

Your tank looks great. I have not started putting mine togeather yet, i have a tank from previous fish, but in june will be the home to my axie, I will probably end up going with the tiles just because its easiest to clean so ive heard. lol.

I am also doing my new tank I think ill use one area with tiles one area with rocks and one area with sand, I have sand now and my axies like digging about in it
