Ferreus / vagrans

Well here are some of the first shots I post here on my California trip. We did get to see 16 species of salamanders among which 2 Hydromantes and some other rare species. Unlucky form e some of the CD ROM's with images I wrote down give errors and I can only retrieve 40 to 50% of the shots... Here are some shots on what is thought to be a hybrid of A ferreus & A vagrans. I know I can ont post a link here, but I have already posted quite some other shots on the living underworld website... hope you understand I took 3000 shots and I can not possibly post all overhere... would take a bit too long.
But enjoy these ones already

Great pics and congrats on the trip. I know you were disappointed at missing a few species, but I's say you did well for a whirlwind trip.

Well up now I think I must say 18 species, since we actually got to see more Batrachoseps species then I thought (possibly 4 of them )...

Well I still need to work further on these shots...
