How much food and how often will a 3 or so inch newt eat. I just started feeding my 3 newts night crawlers, how much worm should each one eat. Also I am suspicious one of my three newts has a nematoad. I never see him eat, and he is a lot skinnier than the other two newts. The newt in question is a male red spotted newt, so is prone to nematoads. His ribs are visible in the right light, is that too thin? Will he infect the rest of my newts?
