I have had my new tiger for 2 days now and i am trying to feed him worms since i am trying to save money by breeding my own. in the past i had a tiger but only fed it crickets, about a dozen once a week. i have read on this site and other places that i should be feeding it 2-3 times a week. is this the same for a juvenile sal? he is very young im guessing since he is only about 4 or 5 inches long. my other question is, how many worms do i feed him at once? if anybody could help this would be much appreciated, thanks

He looks to be of good proportion for his size. I would feed a good-sized worm 3 times a week...and monitor his growth. If he becomes rotund, cut back. If he starts to look a little thin, increase amount...just depends on the size of worm you are feeding. If a large worm such as a nightcrawler, may have to cut into smaller lengths to feed.
