Feeding transition? (CFB larvae)

A little while ago my CFB layed some eggs. They are all hatched now and I have 8 larvae. I am feeding them freshly hatched brine shrimp for now but the biggest one (who is probably about 3 weeks old) seems to be getting a bit big for those.. When should I switch foods? I live in a small town so my choices are very limited and this is my first time with baby newts. I have read the FAQ and caresheet but I did not really see anything about timeframes regarding food types.

I started feeding mine larvae myself when biggest got rear legs, then i gave it smallest bloodworm. Others fed on microorganisms that lived in their tank. I saw ensicauda juveniles feeding on those tiny creatures so i think you shouldn't think that so young larva would not see brine shrimps

They can feed on artemia or daphnia during their whole larval phase. But you should be able to introduce bigger food items as soon as they are a couple of centimetres long. Live food works best, but you can try to get them to eat bloodworms or other dead foods, by moving it in front of them with tweezers. It takes patience....it´s sometimes annoying xD, but they usually get to it....and once they do, they might start eating it without you moving it around....just finding it by smell.

I have only raised about 20 larvae from eggs but blackworms worked wonders for me. When they were just hatched I chopped up blackworms and even chopped really small they still wiggle enough for the larvae to show interest. As they grow larger I just stopped chopping them and fed them whole. At this point it seemed they would eat bloodworms and chopped worms as well. Its seems that once they have been eating for a while that they can just go by smell. Hope this helps.
