Feeding question

My C. pyrrhogaster, Sid, is a shameless beggar. I know he ate 2 crickets yesterday, and I just fed him a few more, and he's dancing around right in the front of his tank trying to convince me he's wasting away in there. How often should I be feeding him and how much? Do I need to worry about him getting fat? He's so adorable, it's hard to resist.
