We just acquired a 3-4 inch yellow spotted.
We've only had him a week or so and he's learned to associate opening the top of his tank with chow time, he'll come out looking for food anytime the tank is opened.
The little guy is not shy at all, and is a voracious eater. We're feeding him earthworms, usually 2-3 1.5 or 2 inch worms every other day. Is this two much/ little? His behaviour leads me to believe he's hungry, or are these the kind of animals that will just eat and eat as long as there's food to be had?
Interestingly, he'll even nudge your fingers and bite if you hold them in front of him long enough.
He's great fun but I want to make sure we're caring for him appropriately.
Thanks
