Feeding on holidays

Im going away this weekend from friday afternoon to sunday after noon.My baby axies are around 6 - 8cm long, if i feed them friday before i leave and then leave a few pellets in the bottom for them will they be ok till i get home sunday afternoon?

I don't think thats the best way to go because axies will eat until the food presented to them is gone. So all the food would be gone the first day probably.

mmmm thats not always the case. With the babies, mine will heat till they are full and then they wont eat till they are hungry again, same with my adults

Hey Hailz, I think they will be ok. Feed them good the night before you leave, and then again right before you are about to leave and again when you come back from your trip, they should be fine

ok, thanks Rheann, i was thinking that was the best way to go but i wasn't sure, i just dont want to come home and find they have eaten each other

Even if they do, parts grow back. I wouldn't leave any pellets in, for fear they'd go moldy and foul water quality.
