Question: Feeding 1 1/2" tiger babes

What should i feed a 1 1/2" tiger salamander baby?

Any standard live prey small enough for him to eat should be fine. Small or chopped earthworms, flightless fruit flies, juvenile crickets or roaches, etc. are all good choices. If you can get live blackworms, bloodworms, tubifex, maggots, phoenix worms, etc. those are also good. I would avoid mealworms. Waxworms are a good occasional treat.

1 1/2 inch juvie tiger salamander??? That may be the smallest ever. I though my 4. 25 inch tiger was the smallest. Can you please post a picture. I am very interested to see it. You will need very small food items try chopped earthworms and pinhead crickets.

Im very positive i live in colorado there are only tigers hear.
