It's not the water, but the glass of my tank that you see as fog.

Nice pics Christian. I can see that pleuro in the first pic looking at it's reflection and asking "Do I look fat in this skin?"

Actually it isn't a reflection, the big newt is my only female, and the other one is one of her 3 male's

Looks like you are going to have your hands full pretty soon! Good luck!

They look so happy in that last picture. How big are they?

The female is 23 cm, and the male's are 18/20 centimeters...

To bad I can't keep the eggs... I already have 35 juvies left from the last time, and nobody wants them over here

awww, i know how that is. but at least they can still mate and have each other.

I don't think the juveniles will survive a trip to the USA? Or what do you mean?

Eggs are maybe possible if you explain me how to do that.

If you are interested in waltl in the U.S. there are several people you can get in to contact with. If you do a search in the caudate registry found in the Caudata Culture link, it will show you a short list of people who keep and breed P. waltl.

Keep an eye out in the for sale section, because there are some in the U.S. but it is a small number so if you really want them, you gotta catch them quick.
