Are Fan Wort (Cabomba sp) and Eurasian Water Mil foil (Myriophyllum spicatum) as easy to grow in a newt aquarium as Elodea/Anacharis? I am guessing yes since they are such great invasives, but I always like to confirm with fellow hobbiests and those that have had experience with these plants.
There are a few waterways in Utah where these two plant species are growing invasively, much like most of North America, and because I am cheap I would like to collect instead of buy aquarium plants. And they are growing in places where I like to recreate!
If I do collect some, how do I make it safe for my animals, ie do I need to do a quarantine first?
Any tips, comments, suggestions, etc, appreciated.
