Eye infection??

Hi,

One of my female T. marmoratus has 2 swollen, whitish eyes. I'm not sure what it is, and what I can do to heal it. Her faeces doesn't look good either. It contains undigested bloodworms...
Does anyone recognise these symptomes?

I would take the newt out of the water and keep her on land. This might be enough to stave off the eye infection but you should consider taking her to a vet to get a prescription for eye antibiotic cream, which should take care of her eye problems in a few days.

Hi John,

Thanks for replying! She's on land for a couple of days now and the eyes look a little less swollen. I'll see what happens over a few days, if it doesn't dissapear I'll take her to a vet!
