As the title says, my Lucy axolotl left eye looks like it has an abnormally large, yellow pupil compared to its other eye, and I catch it bumping into the walls of the tank and decor almost every day. Other detail is that on that side, the gills (the one with the yellow eye) look stunted and less red compared to its other side. Can anyone tell me if this is a cause of concern? My vet did not know what to make of it besides invasive options (i.e. eye biopsy) as she thinks it may be blind in that eye, but I wanted to see if anyone had information on the morphology on lecustics, albino, and Lucy chimeras/mosaics since the half of the gills (on the side with the affected eye) looked off too?

Waster parameters after a 20% water change:

7.4 for pH
.25 for amonnia
0 for nitrite
2 for nitrate

Also, as a quick info, I’m currently waiting for the *right* sand to come in from Amazon after driving 4hours around town with no luck; the gravel came with the tank and Axolotls from the previous owner (potential impaction issues). Also currently waiting to hear back from Strohl 👌🏼🥰
