this has to do with Labrythodonts and not Salamanders but I figured some one would probably find it neat.
My latest prehistoric amphibian recreation is of an Eryops. Aprox 8" long.
next i'll be reconstructing Metoposaurus, Diplocerspis, and Gerrothorax.
Give me suggestions for any other extinct Amphibians i could attempt to sculpt.
Cheers!

Is not an Urodela though here me proposition: Bufo periglenes

You made that? Wow, very impressive! I'd love to see any other extinct amphibs.

That's nice work Damon. I have a few wild safari prehistoric figures but I have always hoped that more non-dinosaur pieces would be produced.

Thanks guys,
Chip, I think a big part of what interests me in making Prehistoric Amphibians is that they are so overlooked buy sculptors and toymakers... every one wants to make a T. rex.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
