I LOVE this site. The articles on ALL of the species that this shop handles are well worth reading (even the animals you would never keep for yourself). Not only is it good info., but the author has a great gift of gab. Some info. comments are absolutely hilarious. For example, check out the section on Axolotls -- too funny! I plan on visiting this store when I go back home this summer, I doubt that I will be disappointed.

wow-they even had a hellbender in there once, the writers style and humour leads me to believe he/she might be English-let me know if im right when you get a chance to stop by....you swinging by my neck of the woods on your way this summer?
 
Though I don´t agree with all of the information given, it´s nice to read and to look at the pictures

I do like her style - its entertaining, but yes, I didn't agree with everything that was written about the two critters I read up on.

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
