So my first axolotl hatched 2 days ago. I immediately started my brine shrimp hatchery. I bought one this time around and now I have the majority of my axolotls hatched so I went to get the brine shrimp to feed and realized absolutely none of them hatched. I went and looked at the hatchery I bought and it says it takes 36 hours for them to hatch. I have no idea what to do now. I can go ahead and make a brine shrimp hatchery but I don’t really have the time to wait another 24 hours for them to hatch without my first axolotl going over 3 days with no food. I put a daphnia in there but it’s an adult and too big for them to eat I’m assuming. I can try adding more but all my daphnia look that size. Is there anything else I can offer them so I don’t starve them waiting on a new batch of brine shrimp??

Hello. I just noticed two notches, white small bubbles on the hind legs of one of my male newts.

Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

He also seems a little sluggish, again, assuming hes cold. Having heating trouble with the new house right now. What do we think? Was thinking of grabbing this for him since its got very low, medium, and higher medium heat settings that exude heat downward inside the rock cave but ALSO exudes it UPWARDS outside of the rock cave, effectively keeping the tank itself a little warm. Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail.
