Title gets the gist of it but my eggs were just delivered, I opened the package to find that most of them have hatched! They've been in transit for two days so they could have hatched at any point in the past two days. I thought I would have more time so my brine shrimp are not ready, I've just started a batch but they won't be ready for the next 24 hours or so.

They all appear alright I think, they are all responsive. They're so tiny! I can't really tell if they still have any yolk sac left. I'm worried that I won't have brine shrimp for them fast enough, will they starve to death immediately?

I vaguely remember reading a thread with a similar situation but I can't find it, I think someone mentioned getting water from pond? I live near several streams and a very large lake (Lake Washington in Seattle), my only concern about the lake water would be the potential presence of pollutants (it's been raining a lot after a long dry streak, storm runoff would be a concern).

I know my usual LFS doesn't have live food available but I haven't called around to any others yet, I'll probably try that here in a minute.

I just feel very unprepared! Also my first time with eggs if that wasn't obvious already :p Any and all advice very very appreciated. I'll try to get some pictures here in a second I don't know if that would be helpful.

They will be fine without eating the first day or two.

You were right! They're fine :) Definitely eased my mind yesterday though!

Some of them look more developed than others, I think a couple might have hatched prematurely after getting beat up in transit. Will they keep developing or should I expect them to potentially not survive? Their faces/gills are what looks less developed than the others, if that makes sense.
