that is Gustav. He is very lazy unlike my female.

I love the picture with her front leg over on the plant in "model pose".

lol yeah thats her favourite pose
happy.gif

She's doing that in my sig too - I've already told her that she won't get any good jobs as a model if she isn't more original with her poses!

I think Elsa is very beautiful. That orange colored background brings out those bright colors in here. Very nice

I've always really liked your setup, Hayley-Jane. Where did you get the rock ornament that Elsa loves posing next to so often?

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, im sure she could get a job modelling for my three boys, im not sure that my female would be too impressed though haha. i agree that last pic is awesome its like youve caught her in the act and shes frozen in the hope you wont see her, she looks like shes doing the 'ill look cute so they wont know im gulity' look lol

Hi Aimee, I got the little rock castle thing from Pets At Home - I don't know if you have this shop in the US? It was about £15 anyway

Hi Monique

This thread is old! There are newer photos of Elsa and her re-arranged tank floating around somewhere.

I got the 'natural' coloured sand from a pet/garden store here in the UK called THE HOLLYBUSH, but I'm sure you can get it online somewhere?

It wasn't my first choice, I wanted white like Cynthia has, but it was the only colour they had

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
