I have red spotted newt eggs, they were laid on a live plant. Will it hurt the eggs if I remove them from the plant?

Hi there and welcome to the club! It's best not to touch the eggs, just remove the leaves or the whole plant itself and place in a separate body of water. Good luck and keep us posted!

Thanks, by the way do you know how long it'll take the eggs to hatch, I know the ballpark is 2-3 weeks?

Two to three weeks is the average if you have them indoors, outside they'll take a little longer. You should use this time before they hatch to establish their live food supply such as daphnia, brineshrimp etc
