so i woke up this morning to find my axolotl has laid her eggs shes brown i have 2 males yellow & a white 1 the eggs are black some have a white spot on them & some have 2 black blobs in 1 jelly type thing (sorry but i'm not sure what its called i'll try 2 get a photo)as you can tell i'm new at this so please let me know what this means

She may lay alot more tonight so be prepared for anything.

they will start to develop over the next few days/weeks to bean shapes, best description, I can think of. I've only seen eggs from dark wildtype/leucistic (white with dark eyes) axie spawnings and all the eggs were half dark/half white. As they developed there was less white and they started taking on the appearance of a greyish/dark bean shape. With the yellow/white pair, you may have a combination of whitish eggs and half white/dark eggs.

You'll soon get to know which ones are infertile. They won't develop and start to collapse in and some may even develop fungus (which looks like a greyish/off white sort of fuzz surrounding the egg jelly.

Hello Kazzie,

take your eggs out and put them in a small aquarium.I us myself the curverboxes. place an airstone in this tank so the eggs can get enough air and there will me enough watermovement. After 2,5 weeks they will hatch. Then take out the eggbags and change the water for 50%( same temperture). take the airstone and place it more in the top of the waterline so the animalsaren't moving around all the time with the watermovement. Now just let the animals sit for about 4 til 5 day before you feed them for the first time. Start feeding artemia's which you can breed in coca cola bottle's. Feed them for about three weeks and change it into tubifex. After this feed them bloodworms but always change the water every three days. also take out everyday the dirt and dead larves so they can't infect the water. After the bloodworms you can start the small axo pellets. Succes.
I am breeding each year over one thousend axo's so this should also work for you.
I see your Username is Dumbblondie 1986. Even a dumb blond can breed axo's !!!! nothing to it.

the two in one membrane, are like the axie version of twins, i often get them in my gold spawns. Sometimes one gets fungus and the other one dies as well, but some live.

thanks for your advise some are starting to look like 'beans' can't wait for them to hatch

water fleas also known as daphnia, is great for babies, though they might ignore the bigger ones at first
