Salutes. I have around seven eggs of lissotriton italicus.they are really small in comparison to the other urodelis.I would want to know only four things things:
How come are the eggs dark?
How much do they employ us to open?
The larva how much it will be small and will of thing feed him?
Last question:
Will the neometamorfosatis be aquatic?
How many eggs do they do around this species?

Dark eggs are normal for all 'Lissotriton'.
Hatching will take about 14 days (depending on temperature).
The larvae are very small. At first, they will eat 'infusoria', Moina and Cyclops. When bigger they will eat Daphnia, bloodworm, and whiteworm.
Metamorphs will remain aquatic (in my experience).
One female can produce 50+ eggs.

I guess only larvae with 1,5cm or more can prey on cyclops... Lisso larvae don't have even 1cm when start to eat. Even this week I had 4 causalities of T.marmoratus larvae with almost 2cm! Imagine larvae even smaller than 1cm...
I guess they can be very dangerous animals to get with small larvae.
Just a opinion,

Jorge
