My second batch of eggs has hatched and, there is not much I can do with 14 axolotls. Out of 20 eggs, 14 hatched. Feeding them and raising them to a certain point is fine, but I can only keep a max of 5 of them.

What do I do with the rest?

Yep. Post them in the for sale threads here on caudata.org when they are ready to be sold/shipped.

Feed them back to the parents.

very nice Kaysie.

It's an acceptable method of disposal. Some people breed axolotls specifically as food for other species.

You could always find schools, science centers or nature centers to donate them to. They do make nice classroom pets, especially if you give the new keepers plenty of information to start on.

As far as feeding to the parents, as hard as it is, cannibalism is part of the 'culture' of these animals. I suppose it's better than letting them go to waste after dying.
