Any way I can get fish off of the eggs? i was feeding the axolotl shredded tilapia, and she decided to have all her eggs while I was gone; the eggs and the fluid surrounding them latched on to the small pieces of tilapia and I couldn't get it all off. Will this adversely affect them? what sorts of things can you think of to get the fish/bacteria off the eggs? Should i try to wash the eggs with water every day or so? baking soda rinse? Didn't see anyone with this problem come up before, so I asked.. some of the little pieces of fish do have bacteria on them and it is clouding up the eggs, although the majority of them are still developing.

Some types of snails will eat the fish but you should do daily water changes too

Yes, definitely daily water changes. You may want to try adding a bit of methylene blue into the refreshed water every day. This will inhibit the growth of fungus and bacteria. But be careful because a little goes a long way. I put ONE DROP of methylene blue into a gallon of water, and then i add a little bit of this water into some fresh water when refreshing the egg water. The end result is that the water has a slight blue tinge.
But when the eggs hatch I would switch back to plain pure water.
