you just need to put the eggs in a plastic container, no need for a filter. Just pop some declorinated water into tub and pop the eggs in.
Once the eggs hatch just use a syringe and suck out the old egg sacks and jelly. you can change the water each day, its pretty easy to do.

i am currently hatching some eggs, they due to hatch at the weekend, if you check out my links it should help.

it should be ok, you only need about an inch of water once they hatch, as less water means easier for them to find the food. once they hatch i would not have any moss or anything in there, that way you can watch them and they dont get confused and starve as they cant see the food.
while the eggs evolve you dont really need to add anything to the water like the moss, in theory it will only be for your benefit rather than the eggs.
how old are the eggs?, you know when they will hatch?
are the eggs from a shop or private seller?

The eggs where laid on the 4 of december from a private buyer so i dont know how long they will take to hatch got my water in the house at around 18 /19 c so i havent got a clue on how long

Thank you for your advise ill take some water out and the moss

Personally I would say the water temp is a bit too hot, just have it at normal room temp. My water just now is 12c
It takes 2 weeks for them to hatch. Mine were laid on 27 Nov and due to hatch this weekend
Just pop the eggs in a plastic container like I have done and forget about them for 2 weeks. They dont need any special attention. Just let nature take its course.Yours should hatch on 17th Dec.

Its just average room temp, well for my flat it is. I have the tubs on a table 1 meter away from the window.
Just glad its not in my spare bedroom just now as its freezing in there as no radiators there, so its averaging 8c just now with the winds and rain.

Omg my average is 18 / 20 c

Your temperature is fine for hatching. The lower temperatures will slow it down, which is no way a problem.

Is that temp going to be okay to keep them in ?????

Thank you

My eggs have always hatched ok at room temperature. You need to chill out, lol, your eggs will be fine.
