Well i just checked some of my eggs that i've got going and they are developing very nicely. i can even sometimes see the little axies inside move a little. today to my surprised though i found the water they where in full of small white worms. i've since moved all the eggs out, but my question is would it be wise for me to use these worms to feed my other larvae? or could there be some unforeseen repercussions?

It -sounds- like it could be planaria, but I'm not entirely sure. Planaria are usually found in tanks/water that has extra nutrients in it (ie, too much poo, too much food, ect). Have any of the eggs gone bad? Maybe the planaria are eating the rotten eggs?

Little white worms aren't planaria. Planaria are pretty large, flat looking things.

As for the little worms, can you get a close up look at one and see if it has any powerful jaws? If not, chances are they will make a good snack.

I have got tiny little worms in one of my tanks too. They look like micro worms, white and maybe about 2-3mm long. They have been happily living there for a few years, I have scooped them out with a brineshrimp net and used them for food for newly hatched axies and never had any problems.

I think this is what was in the tub with my eggs, didnt know what they were though so i seperated my eggs to another tank just incase, theyre teeny tiny though so no chance of seeing if they have a jaw/mouth
