This may seem in bad taste to some owners who see them as pets only... But for a real surplus of axies, Why not deal with them as the mexcians did and eat them?

I breed purebred rare breed poultry and eat the surplus, and also rear purebred rabbiits and eat the surplus, and some people with pet rabbits or backyard egg layers look at me like a serial killer.

Since Axolotls are edible, why not put a surplus to good use?
