Ok, so I have two eggs that hatched a couple of days ago. However, my local garden centre hasn't got anything I can use to feed them. So I do not have any food for them :s
Is there anything I can use, say thawed bloodworms chopped up finely or something like that?, because it is my only option, because I doubt they will eat fish flakes. Help me please!

It took me 5-6 days to get food for my young hatchlings due to the first batches of bbs not hatching. they are really to small to eat anything but the tiny bbs of baby daphnia. I have ordered decapsulated hatchable bbs eggs and they begin to hatch in 12 hours. there are videos online of how to decapsulate your own on youtube. It is easy but involves bleach.

if you ordered some decapsulated hatchable baby brine shrimp and overnited them or even 2 day shipping you might still be ok.

hope this helps

If you have access to any pond water or pond scum, really tiny larvae can eat the little critters in the water. Of course, it's winter, so that might be hard to get.

They will live off their yolk for a short while, so you may have a couple of days to get something ready. I used live daphnia. Try the dead foods if you have no other option, but it didn't work for us (it does work for some other people, it depends on the individual larvae)
